Whether you are a complete beginner or have some experience in woodworking, our 1-Day Introduction to Pole-lathe Turning course is suitable for anyone who wants to learn the basics of bowl turning. During the course, I will coach on using a traditional pole lathe and hook tools to turn a wood bowl blank into a beautiful and functional bowl. Our course covers the essentials of bowl turning, including selecting the right wood for a bowl, creating a bowl blank*, and mounting it onto the lathe.
*To ensure that you have ample time to work on the lathe and hooks, I will provide a ready-to-mount bowl blank. If time permits, you can also turn a second bowl.
